Everything that might offend people is there for a reason. As for the actual story, it's about Miles Halter, who is fascinated by last words, and how he goes to a boarding school and meets Alaska Young. Overall, I think this book deserves five stars. 我承认这本书里有些东西是小孩子不应该接触的，但是如果你真的认为11岁以上的孩子不了解性、毒品和死亡，那你就是在自欺欺人。青少年能处理的事情比你想象的要多。所以，虽然我不会把这本书给你8岁的孩子，但如果你的孩子向你要这本书，就让他们读吧。
