《猛鬼街

我决定在万圣节吃些糖果，看一部恐怖电影——不是一般的恐怖电影，而是一部经典的。我要么在看万圣节，要么在看这个，但我决定看克雷文最著名的电影——《猛鬼街》。因为他也因制作《惊声尖叫》系列而闻名，所以我带着一些希望，也许还有一点恐惧。但它几乎没有做到这些——不是说它不有趣，而是感觉它既缺乏恐惧又缺乏暴力。我知道这部电影是一部恐怖经典，我真的很尊重这一点，但对我来说，这是一个错失的机会，不仅让它更有趣，而且更可怕。我想自从我看了电影《微笑》之后，我的恐惧程度就上升了。没有什么比一个人在电影院看《微笑》更可怕的了，还被吓得魂飞魄散。所以如果我把这部电影和《微笑》相比，它的恐惧程度是2/10。而且暴力和森林也比我想象的少得多。我喜欢这部电影本身，但它缺乏能量和宣传。 I didn’t feel it; it more or less a slow burn horror ride that never really picked up its pace, and always had its slow momentous pace. It may have frightened fans when it first came out, but for me the scares were not scary — in fact (not to disrespect this classic horror film) it was laughable at times. I guess I am judging this movie in the Gen-Z’s eyes prospective and may not be too fair, but I my best not to judge movies from how poorly the graphics are or when it came out!! I can give it this: it does have a fascinating plot idea, and I love the whole dream sequence with Freddy Kruger. Any scenes with him in it always got the movie a bit more exciting. It’s a classic alright but in my eyes it fall short more than one way. Also, I feel like Wes other big franchise, Scream, started out better in a sense of way than this one. Although this one is famously known for Kruger l, I just enjoyed tue whole premise for Scream — even though it repeated itself in all 5 movies. But I do give my cap off to this: Wes made a classic here and I can fully truly respect that. It may lack the tension and scariness that Smile had but Smile will never amount to the classic that Nightmare on Elm Street has become in the pop culture world!!!

不是那么可怕，但是很酷，很有趣。它很暴力，但看起来不太真实，所以大多数青少年都能接受。梦里的场景也有很酷的气氛。
