Cop Car

My rating:R for strong violence, and language throughout.

With tremendous performances, mainly from Kevin Bacon and an excellent ending/cliffhanger, Cop Car is an atmospheric, intense thriller. Grade: A. It also has beautiful cinematography.

Cop Car is a perfect mix of comedy, action, and drama! Common Sense Media's review covers most of the parental concerns, so no need for me go into detail about that. My age rating is for 14 years old, if they can handle it. The film is mostly okay for 14 year olds that can handle thrillers. Veiwers might be disturbed by one humorously dark scene. The ending of the movie can also be very sad and will leave people wondering what happens next. Some veiwers might jump during some of the gunshots, mostly near the end of the movie. The use of blood and gore near the climax can gross out some, but nothing the average movie watcher can't handle. Overall, Cop Car is a fun action-packed flick perfect for a movie night with friends. Excellent acting and beautiful camera shots make this road thriller one heck of a ride!
