Siblings aren't always best friends, but sometimes they get on great! We teach our kids that. I personally think it's good for kids to see other kids being kids, and work out how we can all do better. The movie itself was fun, the Grandpa was fantastic, the story was full of adventure, but what I really loved was there was not too much noise and peril, which is what is in a lot of kid's movies these days. It was just good old fashioned fun. And at the end, the kids learnt an important lesson about honouring culture, and gave up the treasure. I thought this was fantastic and so important to teach our kids about First Nations' Culture... which is where we all really need to be heading. Loved loved loved. Thanks to the First Nations people of Hawaii for modelling such a great happy vibe and beautiful connection to Nature, Spirit and O'Hana. Really great film, TOP SHELF. FULL OF fun, beautiful scenery, indigenous wisdom, family values, adventure, friendships, learning lessons and growing up. Just perfect for us. A+ Mum of 3: 10, 6 and 18 months.
