The High Note

This is actually a very good movie. Very good acting. Decent stories line. But like many Hollywood films, the producers see the need to insert bad language. It occurred way more than the CS summary suggested. Swearing was pretty frequent in this movie including at least F- bomb. IIMHO CommonSense and reviewers were a little off on this one as far as language goes.

Tone and manner was entertaining and the performances were good. But the script was kind of predictable. Light movie that is fine but not fantastic.

The best thing this film has going for it is it’s cast and the characters they play. Everyone gives a fine performance, especially Johnson and Ross. The script isn’t the best ever but it’s entertaining for the most part. Only content warnings are implied sex and some profanity.
