Difficult to watch, let alone stomach in the first half, but expertly acted. Driver as the David up against the Goliath of the CIA is convincing. All the more convincing when you read that the film does not diverge much from the original story. It begs the question, will we forget again in another 30 or 40 years?

Although the violence is in short bursts it is some of the most disturbing stuff I have ever seen waterboarding, beating, rectal rehydration (a scene where a detainee was startled down to a board on his stomach, a tube was put up his anus and water was shot through the tube and water is coming out of his mouth) lots of cussing. Important to watch for adults but not for kids. I am generally pretty ok with my kids 10 and 13 watching R-rated movies but I would never want them to see this. EVER.
