Fun Loving Movie Minus any Agenda

So my husband and I took our three kiddos, ages 13, 9 and 5 to see this movie. Our 9 and 5 year old boys, enjoyed it the most, our 13 year old girl wasn’t as enthusiastic, although it wasn’t a total fail to her. My hubby and I loved it. The humor was clever, the action well placed and the movie held our attention better than expected. There was enough to entertain the whole family. Overall the story line was awesome. Go and see this fun loving film with no hidden agendas!

Great Family Fun

为整个家庭可以享受大冒险!没有thing to be concerned about here at all. I thought it was funny, with a decent plot, fantastic fast paced action, decent dialogue, great voice acting, and great overall music score that took the classic Mario game music to a whole new level. They also had great song choices from the 80s like, Take On Me and Thunderstruck. And to top it all off, the animation was absolutely awesome. And of course, the nostalgia factor was great too.

Is It Any Good?

任天堂粉丝会感觉他们抓住了一个超级Star while watching this brightly colored magical adventure, which mashes several Mariogames up into a full storyline. But for viewers who are less familiar, sitting throughThe Super Mario Bros. Moviemay feel like watching a second grader play a Mario game: It's cute, but you can't help thinking about all the other things you could be doing with your time. Making movies based on video games that have beloved characters and a built-in fan base seems like a natural choice, but not many do it well (exceptions includeSonic the HedgehogandDetective Pikachu), andThe Super Mario Bros. Moviedoesn't depart from that norm.

While itisfun to see the brothers in their "real life" environment in Brooklyn -- working as plumbers and living at home with their big Italian family -- as well as how the filmmakers incorporate elements of the games, the film isn't funny or creative enough to satisfy most teens or adults. Moreover, the child-friendly animation style is a tad misleading, as directors阅读andMichael Jelenicup the scare factor, making Bowser and his minions more terrifying than they need to be. There's plenty of excitement, nonstop action, and colorful images, but this project as a whole doesn't exactly level up.
