Victoria Saylor is the senior manager for family and community education at Common Sense Media, where she works collaboratively with school districts, early childhood programs, and the community to help strengthen family engagement through consultations, workshops, media segments, and webinars. With over 20 years of experience in the education sector, she brings a strong sense of student advocacy and best practices to her role at Common Sense and uses her extensive background in education to create relevant content and equitable learning opportunities for diverse audiences. She also has had the privilege of presenting at several educator conferences, including ISTE and NAFSCE, always connecting with her audiences in authentic and positive ways.
Prior to joining Common Sense, Victoria helped pioneer a groundbreaking dual language immersion program, which is now a highly desired choice for PK-12 families. After leaving the classroom, Victoria worked as a consultant for Santillana U.S.A. and Capstone Classroom publishers, where she sourced K–12 curriculum and teamed closely with district leaders and teachers for professional development.
Victoria is an active member of The Latina Giving Circle, Arizona Technology in Education Association (AzTEA), National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and Read On Arizona, and a recipient of the Above and Beyond award, which recognizes educators who have made lasting impacts in the lives of their students and community. She is a proud graduate of the University of Arizona, where she earned degrees in elementary education and Spanish. Outside of her career, she's a proud wife and mom of two who enjoys cooking, traveling, and hiking the beautiful deserts of Arizona.
