The closest he gets is the Charleston. The characters begin every episode as humans, while their monster parents drop them off. Then they transform into monsters when the sun sets. The reason for this is never explained. Maybe to ward off humans, but there were several times when they interacted with humans as monsters, and no one batted an eyelash. Even if they were warding off humans, wouldn’t it make sense for the PARENTS to be in disguise, too? And of course no one would suspect kids named Drac and Lobo to be monsters. Also, the music is very repetitive and spans only five notes, at most. I shall transcribe the full theme song below. “We’re Super Monsters! The Super Monsters!” I feel like the characters should have been superheroes. The’ve already got “super” in the title, plus the powers, and the Frankenstein’s Monster character is already basically just the Hulk. Plus it would explain the transformation and the wanting to do good.
